Italian progressive alt-rock band KLOGR is set to release their highly anticipated new album, 'Fractured Realities.' This compelling music collection prepares them for a special guest appearance, supporting Evergrey on their extensive UK-European tour this November and December.

KLOGR has returned triumphantly after a seven-year hiatus with 'Fractured Realities.' The album was initiated during the lockdown but faced several delays due to personal challenges among the band members. It was finally completed in June 2024. 'Fractured Realities' marks a new chapter for the band, characterized by resilience and innovation.

The mastermind behind KLOGR,Gabriele 'Rusty' Rustichelli stated in a Press Release: 

It wasn’t easy to get back on the scene after producing our album, 'Keystone', with David Bottrill (known for his work with Tool, Stone Sour, and Dream Theater) and spending two years touring. The pandemic forced us to pause everything. Once things returned to normal, additional challenges emerged that further slowed down our work. Fortunately, we managed to restart, refocus, and complete the studio work. The personal pressure of overseeing all aspects of production was immense. Thankfully, teamwork was crucial in finishing the production and delivering what I consider to be the band’s best album."


'Fractured Realities' showcases KLOGR's evolution, incorporating electronics and synthesizers to enhance their rock/metal foundations and propel their music for a contemporary audience. The new album guides the listener through an emotional journey, highlighting the societal focus on profit over individual well-being. From the lead single 'The Twisted Art' (feat. Albert Eno) to the new release 'Unspoken Words,' and album highlight 'One of Eight' through to the closing epic nature of 'Whale Fall, KLOGR's new album is a contemplative depiction of human emotions, manipulation, and acceptance in a digital era.

 

 Renowned illustrator Charli Aldrighi (Muse, Foo Fighters, Metallica) designed the album and single artworks, capturing the themes of the music. Produced by KLOGR’s own Rusty and co-produced and recorded by Jarno Bellasio, the album, 'Fractured Realities,' was mixed and mastered by Federico Ascari at Zeta Factory Studio in Carpi, Italy.


KLOGR has built a loyal fan base through their compelling live performances and complex soundscapes.  KLOGR is poised for a powerful resurgence following their 2017 album 'Keystone', and subsequent tours in support of bands like The Rasmus, Butcher Babies, and Infected Rain, Since their formation in 2011, they have been on constant tours supporting well-known acts such as Prong and Limp Bizkitand capturing the intensity of their live shows in a 2017 video that features footage from ten concerts with guest drummer Art Cruz of Lamb of God.

In support of the new album release, KLOGR will introduce a 'visual edition' of 'Fractured Realities,' which includes music videos for each track directed by former band members who understand the album’s vision through an intimate setting.. These videos will play a prominent role during their forthcoming tour with EVERGREY, offering fans an immersive multi-sensory experience.

'Fractured Realities' will be released via Zeta Factory on 31st October 2024.

An alternative metal band from Vila Real, Portugal, In We Fall, is known for creating a distinct and exotic sound through a mixture of alternative metal, progressive metal, and grunge. The band recently finished recording their debut full-length album entitled Inner Self which will be released on December 13, 2024. EP Review: Saint Diablo Embraces the past on "The Reckoning"

The latest band to embrace the genre that mixed down-tuned guitars with mixing desks and aggressive vocals about personal struggles and social anxieties is Virginia-based sextet,  Saint Diablo. Today, the Latin Americans release their latest four-track EP 'The Reckoning' via Eclipse Records.  The band consists of lead vocalist Tito Quinones, guitarist Justin Adams, bassist Zach San Pietro, drummer Anthony San Pietro, and percussionist Awesome Ray Ray. It has released two full releases to date, including 2015's critically -acclaimed Devils, Horns and Halos. The Reckoning  is no exception as the band delivers four sizzling tracks of apoplectic rage, thunderous riffs and catchy choruses to set themselves loose on the metal world.
