Brit progressive hard hitters, THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA, will release their much-awaited new album, Origins, on Friday 1st November. The innovative duo have just revealed their latest single and video, "Waves".Click below to watch the video.
   


Established in 2020 in Camden Town, London, THE CHRONICLES OF MANIMAL AND SAMARA (TCOMAS) is a collaboration between Daphne Ang (vocals, piano, and keyboard) from Singapore, and Andrea Papi (vocals, electric guitar, bass, and drum programming) from Italy. TCOMAS is known for its unique fusion of heavy rock and electronica combined with poetry performance. Their debut album, "Full Spectrum," featured the single 'Love in the Time of Pestilence,' which was featured on several popular Spotify playlists. TCOMAS released their sophomore album, "Trust No Leaders," in the Summer of 2022, continuing to push boundaries with their blend of progressive music, poetry, and vision. Their self-produced music videos have been showcased at prestigious international film festivals worldwide.



TCOMAS continue to grow with their new album, Origins, which is their most expansive and finest piece of work to date. The first single from the record, Mysterium Tremendum, dropped earlier this year and melded death metal, classical music, and poetry with a full orchestra. An alluring animated music video was also unveiled alongside the track. Their follow-up single, Feed the Beast, with its progressive rock and metal anthem gained notable recognition on many editorial playlists on Apple and Amazon Music. The band’s recent single, Bite the Bullet, sees the band collaborate with UK-based Italian rapper, Mr Meuri..

EP Review: Saint Diablo Embraces the past on "The Reckoning"

  Words from Anselm Anderson Nu-Metal is making a return with a bang. The latest band to embrace the genre that mixed down-tuned guitars with mixing desks and aggressive vocals about personal struggles and social anxieties is Virginia-based sextet,  Saint Diablo. Today, the Latin Americans release their latest four-track EP 'The Reckoning' via Eclipse Records.  The band consists of lead vocalist Tito Quinones, guitarist Justin Adams, bassist Zach San Pietro, drummer Anthony San Pietro, and percussionist Awesome Ray Ray. It has released two full releases to date, including 2015's critically -acclaimed Devils, Horns and Halos. The Reckoning  is no exception as the band delivers four sizzling tracks of apoplectic rage, thunderous riffs and catchy choruses to set themselves loose on the metal world.
