British rockers Gone Savage are returning with a fresh sound and a new label. The duo, consisting of vocalist Will Glover and guitarist Ian Salpekar, is preparing for their debut label release, "Retrograde," which is scheduled for release next Friday, October 25th, through Muzzle Records.

Brad Rolling, Peter Maher, and Gary Williams recorded, mixed, and mastered the ten track LP in the UK. Hugh Symes contributed to the excellent artwork as the band plugged in for this hard rock release. The band's sound leans towards an '80s rock style, influenced by bands like Ozzy Osbourne, Ratt, and Def Leppard. They bring together an intimate and personal album focusing on heavy riffs and solid ballads.
Glover and Salpekar are complemented by drummer and percussionist Dex Tyler, who brings maturity and a fresh perspective to the production.

The album opens with the lead single "Ram Me Down," a fiery rock track that sets the tone. Glover's smooth vocals glide over the energetic and catchy guitar riffs. "Shameless" maintains the momentum with its gritty rock sound and a metal edge, Salpekar and Glover enjoy greater freedom for self-expression, supported by a talented group of musicians who help convey the stories behind their songs through raw and emotional music.

The band leans more towards power ballads that complement Glover's sneering vocals. This is evident in tracks like "Money, Power, Love," "Here Comes The Shade," and "In 2 Ya." The songwriting and production enhance the overall experience, as the band experiments with keyboards and programming to create a retro sound. The band's signing with an American label has influenced their latest release. The songwriting and production values exhibit a sharper edge, In contrast to their typically softer rock sound. The band's highlights include the stirring Bon Jovi-ish "Soul Sister" The infectious pop melodies on "World Gone Crazy" and the closer "D.R.O.WN.I.N.G", a sorrowful and melodic track to wrap up the album.
Gone Savage marks their label debut by creating emotional songs that resonate deeply with them, instead of merely producing a rock album for its own sake.

"Retrograde" will be available through Muzzle Records on all major streaming platforms on Friday, October 25th.
