EP Review- A Titan, A Deity- Descendant

Birmingham's Rising Metalcore outfit A Titan A Deity released their latest EP,  Descendant, earlier last month. Formed in 2016, the five-piece has had some momentum behind them, appearing at several festivals in the UK, as well as earning support slots to Monuments, From Sorrow to Serenity, and Dropout Kings to name a few. They combine blistering Tech Metal with progressive elements and combining harsh and clean vocals to create a unique sound for the band. 'Descendant' is a six-song collection, clocking in with just over twenty minutes, this gives an insight into the young Englishmen. 'Io' is a progressive song with some interesting time signatures and a dynamic sound. The Skyscraping ambience sounds to accompany the soaring vocal melodies juxtaposed with aggressive howls and scintillating riffs.   Next up is the thunderous 'Revelations' with angular guitars, harsh vocals, and instrumental breakdowns. SONG OF THE DAY: PRANA SONGBIRD FT RITCHIE SAMBORA- LISTEN LIKE IT'S GOSPEL

  " "Listen Like It's Gospel" is the latest release under the Indieink Music umbrella via Sony /Orchard, today (March 12th) .  The talented multi-Award-winning singer  Prana Songbird performs the track, alongside Bon Jovi  guitarist Richie Sambora. The track was written by Multi-Grammy Award-nominated artist and producer Thomas Marolda to bring the best out of Prana's powerful voice. Prana's vocals were recorded at The Dream Studios Complex in Alva Florida with engineer Chad Zuchegno.  Detroit- based Prana is a French/Creole singer and actress with ties to the Choctaw Indian tribe. She has performed on the international stage with Grammy Award-winning artists and writers. Words by Anselm Anderson Cousin Betty presents a common favourite of this writer: A slab of distorted, psychedelic riffs and fervent grunge I cannot ever get tired of. Drone ,  is the band's debut single taken from upcoming EP Left. via Golden Robot Records.  The band is the brainchild of guitarist/songwriter Damien Stoftka , a man responsible for writing many a riff for Molten Universe, Death Mattel etc in his 15-year career. Inspired by the Desert Sessions, Stoftka decided on a project that would centre around guest musicians and performers contributing music live. Stoftka was able to form his band through "Micro-bands" he supported to end up with a core line up of Matt Downey ( Vocals), and a rhythm section of Pat Walker (OHMS), Tom Bambachi,  ( Lime Spiders, Aberration,) Ged and Tom Corben ( Lime Spiders) and Chris Drane ( Cherrywood).
