Europe Guitarist John Norum inks Record Deal with Frontiers Music SRL and Announces new Solo Album

He is set to enter the studio to record his tenth solo album , marking a new chapter in his career. John Norum is characterised by melodic solos and writing style, balancing bluesy influences with classic hard rock and a distinctive singing and guitar playing style. His virtuosic, soulful, and imaginative playing makes his solo work a rewarding listen for both fans and newcomers. He released his first solo album, “ Total Control ,” in 1987 and has since released a total of nine solo albums. His latest album, “ Gone to Stay ,” was released in 2022. John has spent the last couple of years working with Deep Purple ’s frontman, Glenn Hughes , Don Dokken and many other top-notch musicians. Frontiers Music SRL Album Review: Blue Oyster Cult Returns for a second night in celebration of fifty years together

  Words by Anselm Anderson Frontiers Music SRL has been experiencing recent success with notable releases from acts such as The Treatment, King Zebra, Mr. Big, and  Blue Oyster Cult. The legendary Heavy Metal pioneers return with their third release in nine months. The sequel to last year's LIVE IN NYC- 50th Anniversary  is released today (9th August) with the second night of the three-night celebrations of a career spanned over five decades. In September 2022, the band performed their second album, Tyranny and Mutations, in its entirety at a sold-out show in Sony Hall, New York City. The release includes a guest appearance from original drummer Albert Bouchard, in addition to the current lineup featuring singer Buck Dharma, guitarist Eric Bloom, drummer Richie Castellano, Jules Radino, and Danny Miranda. ALBUM REVIEW: THE TREATMENT-WAKE UP THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

  Words by Anselm Cambridge is best known in England for boat races and universities but you can now add The Treatment to that list. The quintet returns with their highly-anticipated sixth studio effort entitled Wake Up the Neighbourhood  via Frontiers Music SRL. I have been a fan of this group for a while, ever since the release of their album 'Power Crazy' in 2019. They are part of the NWOCR genre, which includes other bands such as Thundermother, Massive Wagons, The Lazys, and many more. These bands typically produce defiant and anthemic rock tracks with influences from legendary bands like AC/DC, Thin Lizzy, and Led Zeppelin. If you're familiar with this genre, you can expect more of the same from The Treatment's newest release. The group was formed in 2008 and has released five albums so far. Their debut album 'Running With the Dogs' in 2014 served as a prelude to their future music. They have cited Def Leppard, Thin Lizzy , and AC/DC as their influences...
