Saxon Announces "Gods of Thunder" 2027 UK and Irish Tour

 British heavy metal giants Saxon have announced the first UK and Ireland leg of their Gods of Thunder World Tour .  The eleven date tour will feature the revival of their legendary 30-foot mechanised Eagle for all UK and Ireland shows, with the exception of Cardiff due to venue restrictions. Saxon will also be bringing the  Castles & Eagles stage production. Originally constructed in the early 1980s as Saxon prepared to tour their seminal album Denim and Leather , the iconic Eagle was built by Midlands-based company LSD using airport runway landing lights. It made its first appearance during a pre-tour rehearsal in London before becoming an enduring symbol of the band. RUSH ANNOUNCE 2027 TOUR DATES IN SOUTH AMERICA, UK & EUROPE

They will continue the tour in South America, the UK, AND Europe next year.  Last year, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® Inductees, GRAMMY® Award-nominated icons, and RUSH Co-Founders Geddy Lee [bass, keys, vocals] and Alex Lifeson [guitar, vocals] announced their return to the stage for a very special tour in Canada, USA and Mexico in 2026 in celebration of RUSH’s music, legacy, and the life of late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart . The response was met with enthusiasm. The initial 22 dates sold out immediately, encouraging additional shows, resulting in a total of 58 shows across 24 cities, with over half a million tickets sold for 2026.  I n early 2027, the dates will be the first time the band has played in Europe in over a decade, and 17 years since visiting South America. These are on Wednesday, 21st January 2026, at The Eagle Inn in Manchester and Thursday, 22nd January 2026, at Round The Corner in Liverpool . Additionally, they have released two new live singles on streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music to give fans a flavour of what to expect from the shows. The band will once again unleash their signature sound on audiences across the continent. They are known for their explosive live performances and natural stage presence, and the tour will see LOST SOCIETY showcase this when they kick things off in March 2026 . The tour will see LOST SOCIETY travel to cities throughout the UK, Germany , the Netherlands , Switzerland and Scandinavia .
