ALBUM OF THE WEEK - EXTINCTION A.D- CULTURE OF VIOLENCE.

New York Thrashers' Extinction A.D is set to unleash the chaotic " Culture of Violence" , this Friday, March 18th via Unique Leader Records. The album is the first release for the record label and the follow up to 2018's ' Decimation Treaty'. The band formed in 2013, releasing two full-length studio efforts and an Ep, as well as earning support slots to such luminaries like Suicidal Tendencies, Municipal Waste, Testament and Obituary. The ten-track blends the intensity of modern metal with the aggression of 80's thrash, and the emotions of 90's thrash metal. The self-titled 'Culture of Violence' opens proceedings with a fistful of raw anger full of blistering solos, pummeling drumbeats and hellacious vocals. Next up is the equally volatile "Dominion" with its neck-breaking riffage, finger-blistering double-blast beats and vocalist Rick Jimenez raging like a modern-day Phil Anselmo.
