  England's Alt-Metal quarte t Ruled by Raptors soar onto the music scene with sophomore release Silent Sound , their much-anticipated follow-up to 2019's debut EP 'Ouroboros'. Produced by highly esteemed rock music producer Romesh Dodangod a (Motorhead, Funeral for a Friend) at Longwave Studio in Cardiff, Wales, this four-track release brings huge choruses, meaty riffs and hook-laden tunes. Formed in Newcastle, England in 2018, the band consists of the lead singer/guitarist Chris Bradley, fellow vocalist and guitarist Matthew Dewar, bassist Nick Oliver and drummer Will Robson. The band have earned rave reviews for their likeliness to Biffy Clyro and At the Drive-In . One listens to the opening track 'Waves' and I can definitely understand those comparisons. The thick soaring guitar leads, deft drumming and mix between hollow screams and catchy pop melodies sound more like a contemporary alternative to those aforementioned acts. The band was created in the 1990s as a means to get lead singer/songwriter Keith Leahy's music noticed. That early success led to the breakup of Leahy's original lineup due to indifferences with the record label they were with. Fortunately, Keith Leahy returned to the music industry with renowned music producer John King to remaster his four original albums. The singer/songwriter is now back with a new lineup and newly recorded music to share with the world. The band hail from Gloucester in England and consists of former members of metal acts Oakhaart and Tempestora . The band combines dark orchestral pieces with symphonic elements and clean and harsh vocals. I don't usually review such bands, but my interest was piqued when I read their backstory. Produced by lead singer Sam Shiers, 'Effigies of Time' is a six-track release that is as experimental to the band, as it is for the listener. The band were growing weary of the music industry and decided to put away their instruments and microphone.   Singer-Songwriter and Autism advocate Max Muscato has released his latest single. 'Valarie'. This upbeat rock song mixes indie rock vibes with blues-infused riffs. Muscato hails from Buffalo, NY and is the founder of Rock Autism  Music Festival, a non-profit organisation powered by SonMax Entertainment. The festival is held every August in Buffalo NY.   Eclectic quartet Fonzy and Company  released their third EP Touche  last week. Produced by Innersound Audio, the four-track EP combines Indie. Pop and Alternative elements to create a burst of energetic rock for the listener. Formed in 2019 by lead vocalist/guitarist Fonzy Armour as a solo recording project, Armour decided he needed some company upon feeling impressed with the material recorded. Long-time friends Olivia Jury and Sam Bennett joined on vocals and bass, respectively. The trio soon released two EPS', Last Birth and Is It Me? to critical acclaim, garnering 1500 worldwide radio plays.
