Blues sensation Bex Marshall announces uk dates for upcoming 2024/25 UK Tour

Blues guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Bex Marshall has announced dates for her upcoming  2024/2025 UK Tour following the release of her latest critically acclaimed album 'Fortuna' out now on Dixiefrog Records. 

Marshall will be joined by a band of talented musicians: Tony Baker on keyboards, Richie Stevens on drums and Rudyard Burley on bass. Bex Marshall will perform a mixture of intimate headline club shows and festival appearances commencing with Friday,13th September 2024 at Cleveland Bay, Stockton on Tees, United Kingdom.  During the run of live dates, Bex Marshall will also take part in a BBC Radio 2 Live Session With Cerys Matthews on Monday 16th September 2024.

Bex Marshall has earned recognition for her powerful vocals and skilful resonator guitar playing, as noted by Classic Rock Magazine. Blues In Britain Magazine praises her latest work, which she has truly delivered. PHILLY CHEESE PHIL appreciates Marshall's guitar mastery, raspy vocals, and exceptional songwriting while highlighting her latest record's delight. Charles Shaar Murray describes her as "a moving vocalist, an impressive guitarist, and a dynamic stage presence."


'Fortuna' is a collection of ten tracks, filled with catchy songs and showcases Bex's talents as a powerful storyteller.  Bex enlisted her local London-based friends including Richie Stevens on drums (Tina Turner, Simply Red, George Clinton), Toby Baker on keyboards (BB King, Eric Clapton, Alexander O’Neil, Sinead O Connor), B.J Cole on Dobro (Elton John, Coldplay, Sting, Shania Twain, Robbie Williams), New York's Robert Eugene Daniels on bass (RIP “Red Bass”) Aurora Mannola on bass, London's gospel Queen Shola Adegoroye, and legendary Danny Bryan on percussion (Taj Mahal). 

,Fortuna was created after a week-long recording session at Snakepit Studios in North London It’s an album of soulful blues, and funk with hints of gospel and roots. The album was engineered, co-produced and mastered by Nick Hunt (Dave Stewart, Boy George, Placebo, George Clinton) who Bex has worked with on her previous album 'House of Mercy'.
