Nicklas Sonne, a rising star on the rock scene, has  released his new lyric video “Helldivers Anthem”, taken from the upcoming studio album “Electric Dreams”, due to be released on June 27th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl.

 Nicklas Sonne commented on the new single: “From one gamer to another - this is my tribute to the Helldivers. Loud riffs, big explosions, and just the right amount of sarcasm. Freedom never sleeps - and neither do we”.

He adds about the album: “This record is a deeply personal journey back to where it all began for me - to the raw energy and spirit of my earliest musical inspirations. It blends the soul of old school hard rock with the punch and clarity of a modern production, creating a soundscape that feels both nostalgic and new”.
 
Nicklas Sonne is a Danish musician, vocalist, guitarist, and producer renowned for his powerful presence in progressive and heavy metal genres. He began his musical experience as a drummer before transitioning onto the guitar and settling on becoming  a singer-songwriter for  an array of metal and hard rock projects, Sonne began his musical journey in 2010 with Danish Metal band,  Defecto. In addition, Nicklas is a co-founder of Aries Descendant along with Jonah Weingarten (Pyramaze, Catalyst Crime) Nicklas Sonne honed his skills from an early age, playing to Metallica and Dream Theater classics, before later developing his songwriting and production skills. He has collaborated with some of metal's renowned producers, such as Jan Langhoff (Aqua) and Flemming Rasmussen (Metallica). 

Sonne has appeared with several other bands over his fifteen year career including, Evil Masquerade, Theory, Hank Shermann, One Machine, Waving Memories, Section A, Metallica Jam, Wasted, Omvendt Korstog. In addition, he has made international tours in places such as Japan, and opening for Metal heavyweights including Metallica and Rammstein.
