Multinational Retro rock band Lucifer has announced a series of select European tour dates, including one UK performance. Lead singer Johanna Platow returns with a completely new lineup, which consists of guitarists Rosalie Cunningham and Coralie Baier, bassist Claudia Gonzalez Diaz and drummer Kevin Kuhn.

The tour follows the success of the recent album "Chapter V", and a subsequent European and US tour in support of Ghost and Coven.

Post release, LUCIFER presented two duets, 'I Would Follow You Babe' with Graveyard’s Joakim Nilsson and their rendition of Leonard Cohen’s 'Who By Fire' with doom legend Bobby Liebling of Pentagram. Now, after touring Europe with Angel Witch and The Night Eternal, and a return to South America and Japan last year, the band’s founder, Johanna Platow, has  announced a string of  exclusive headline and festival shows

Rosalie Cunningham commented on her recent addition to the ranks:

"I am thrilled to be moonlighting in this new incarnation of Lucifer! I shall relish this opportunity to reconnect with my darker side musically and have a ball on stage alongside Johanna and the girls (and Kevin!)"

Drummer Kevin Kuhn added:

"The question shouldn't be 'Why am I playing in a rock/metal band?' but 'Why only now?" I'm extremely grateful and excited to finally have the chance to indulge my flaming passion for hard/heavy rock, which has accompanied me my entire life. And I couldn't imagine a better band for that than Lucifer. I feel very much at home with their great songs, their unmistakable vibe, and their impeccable sense of mystery and aesthetics, and I will do everything I can to do it all justice. It's a true honour."

Formed in 2014, Johanna Platow formed Lucifer in Berlin, Germany, in the style of 1970s hard rock giants Black Sabbath, Pentagram, B.O.C, and Fleetwood Mac. The band fuses Proto-Heavy metal with doom stylings. To date, the band has released five albums, including a slew of singles with guest musicians.

EP Review: Virtue in Vain-Nothing is All I Am

CoverArtwork Courtesy of San Pr Words Written by Anselm Anderson Today marks the final chapter of an emphatic trilogy by British Metalcore Heavyweights , Virtue in Vain . Nothing is All I Am ' is the third instalment exploring human emotions and psyche.  The trio began their journey in 2015 with their debut EP,  For All You Know is the Mask I Wore ,  focusing on the loss of identity, before 2019's   Dusk//Dawn looking at the consequences of a terrible night out, whilst 'Nothing is All I Am ' focuses on rebuilding a fractured mind. The trio of lead vocalist Hywel Thomas, guitarist Mason Williams, and drummer Daniel Bryant hail from South Wales deliver another dose of metalcore that hits like a sledgehammer to the head. The band replicates what many other British bands of the genre do, but they bring a story behind their music. Their emotional cries blend with powerful riffs and down-tuned instrumentals that resonate long after the music has stopped. Their...
